I've been feeling pretty yucky for about a week now, but I think I'm finally on the downhill side of my nasty cold. To celebrate, I went for a run this morning. I felt kind of yucky during the first and last miles, but the 2 1/2 in between were the best I've felt in a long time. No pain! Just easy, light, enjoyable running.
Joyful Moment beyond compare.
But the day gets even better.
Every year I get the kids and HH each their own Christmas ornament. I have a ton and I want them to have more like me. Every year I stress and stress over finding the perfect one for each of them. Seriously, sometimes that is the hardest gift to come by!
Well, today I was out and saw these really cute ornaments. No, they have no significance to what has happened to anyone in my household over the last year. But, they are darling. And I know my kids will love them. So, I decided to simplify. I bought them all identical ornaments.
And I can't tell you what a relief it is to have that done.
Whew.
Huge Joyful Moment right there, Folks.
Wishing you all Joyful Moments that are huge and beyond compare!

Good for you! I love it when things just happen and simplify life in a serendipitous way! I'm very happy for you. And how wonderful that you were able to get in such a good run. YEA!
Lots of JM's in my day today, in spite of having a 2nd root canal on my unlucky tooth #13. :) First, your baby sister insisted on taking care of me all day and did a great job, making me feel extremely loved and cared for. Second, the endodontist said things could not have gone better and gave me a very optimistic prognosis. I feel extremely optimistic that this will end the problems that have been going on for 5 years and that will give me many joyful moments.
I'm glad to hear it went well. I was thinking about you all day anyway, with it being Grandpa's birthday. I hope it was an okay day, all things considered. I'm glad you and Meg are there for each other at times like this. I love you!
Thanks for remembering my Dad.
