Nothing against the color yellow--it's just that we're planning on planting yellow day lilies there later in the summer. That's a lot of yellow.
Well, today as I drove up to the house, I noticed that they'd finally bloomed. Not yellow!

As was just having a good day when I expected to have another bad day.

My JM was picking my kids up from a music day camp today and hearing how "awesome" it was. They hadn't been particularly excited beforehand.
So nice to over hear your kids saying things like that! And I'm glad they're loving it!
That flower is GORGEOUS! I'm looking forward to seeing them live. :) My joy today might have been finishing the mowing of the jungle that our yard became while we were gone. Good thing we have a tiny yard...
Mom--We've been dealing with a bit of a jungle ourselves--and haven't been out of town to excuse it!
