Day 217: At Last!

I saw one of the most beautiful butterflies on my run this morning. Joyful Moment.

And then I hopped in the car and took a road trip to see my aunt and uncle for the first time in about five years. Joyful Moment!!!

Becky said...: I read an intriguing quote in the Young Women Camp Manual the other day on how nature gives us unexpected surprises that can bring us joy that lasts far longer than the actual surprise.

Today I also saw a beautiful butterfly, and the surprise was that it occurred in the parking lot between the grocery store and my car, and not on a nature trail. The quote was right!; September 03, 2010

About Me

The purpose of this blog has evolved over the years. It started as a blog to discuss ways to create greater joy in our lives. But then I decided to post a daily Joyful Moment for a year to help me get through the pregnancy and infancy of my third child. The year came and went and I wasn't ready to give it up yet. So, I just kept going. Now, I'm chronicling my experience with talk therapy, too.

The cast of characters includes me (Cheryl), my husband HH (Hot Honey) who is kind enough to wash the dishes while I post many nights, Sweet P my 8-year old daughter, Little M my 6-year old son, Baby B my soon-to-be 3-year old son, and Darling A our precious baby girl.
