Day 401: The "Thin" In Thin Mints

Refers to the cookie's size, not yours.  I genuinely believed that these little gems were given their name because they were low fat until a fateful day a few years ago when I actually looked at the nutrition panel.  Tragic day.

Be that as it may, today was a rough day.  So, I'm claiming the moment of eating two glorious little Thin Mints as my Joyful Moment.  Long live the Girl Scouts and their cookies!

(In keeping with my adoration for HH--he is the one responsible for us even having them!)

Wishing you all Joyful Moments and a Girl Scout troop in your neighborhood!

You would have been one of those pioneers that would have looked at your little cake made of 1/4 oz of flour and wondered if it was nutritionally sound....and, of course you would be totally right that it is not.

Stick with the thin mints..they at least taste good. :)

Love you!

Just a thought... I always assumed that the "thin" had nothing to do with fat, but the size of the cookie. I did NOT want to hear about the fat content since they're my favorite GS cookie. I will immediately wipe from my brain that you said that.

I agree with the previous comments. :) They are my fav too. And I didn't even get offered a single one this year. I will have to make friends with a GS or her mother before next year!

My joy was spending a day with Meg and Wyatt and Weston tonight. And feeling gratitude for living close enough to help family when they need it - like having wisdom teeth pulled.
