Today the kids were out of school.
I never figured out why.
But, we decided to make it a fun day. Met up with some friends at the park in the morning and then again at the zoo in the afternoon.
As we got close to the zoo, I heard Baby B say "Yay!" and clap his hands. I thought, "Surely, he doesn't realize where we're going?"
But then, as we pulled into the parking lot, I heard a cute little (but very enthusiastic), "Yay!" followed by applause. And then when I got out to get him from his seat he was beaming and making all sorts of excited baby gibberish. It was so fun. And cute.
And my Joyful Moment.
Kinda makes me want to go back--just to see if he'll do it again.
Wishing you all Joyful Moments that make you want to go back!

I think that would be a fun experiment. Let us know what happens if you do it again.
As you know, this was a hard day for me. Until I figured out how I could change things. That was a relief and I'm going to call it today's joy.
Mom--I'm glad you found a way to make it better. I love you!
