Our zoo does a cute, fun trick-or-treating activity just before Halloween. Tonight was the night.
Just before it was time to go, HH's parents showed up, which was most definitely Joyful Moment #1. But then we hurried and got the costumes on and went on our way.
We were so full of Joyful Moments everyone stayed up a good two hours passed their bedtimes.
And don't worry, pictures of my little spider will be posted on Halloween.
Wishing you all Joyful Moments that keep you up late--once in a while!

I love Sweet P's costume - a winner! And so nice to see the bat on one more of our posterity. :) He's a cutie.
Our JM was going hiking with your big bro's family and their friends. And having your dad miraculously pull Ky's glasses out of the cold rushing river after her baby bro accidentally knocked them off.
Mom--Thanks! Yes, it was fun sharing the bat costume with him, too. The zipper is beginning to show a little wear and tear, but the rest is holding up great! And Dad's always had amazing reflexes!
Actually, it wasn't his reflexes, it was his persistence and willingness to make contact with the cold cold water that helped him find and retrieve those glasses. :)
