I finally went for an actual run this morning.
Well, maybe not an actual run. It was more of a two-mile jog, really. But still...
It was a Joyful Moment for me. And for Z, I believe. Because she came with me. There was hardly any pain in either foot, too. Pretty amazing!
Wishing you all Joyful Moments from one of your same, favorite sources!

Awesome! I'm thinking about actually joining a Yoga class for the first time ever. But I'm scared the instructor will see my self-taught downward facing dog and kick me out! We'll see...
My joyful moment came from a wonderful RS meeting full of the spirit and good friends.
Cheryl...
I was just thinking...Do you think that all these issues with your foot are due to those shoes with the toes? Did you already have foot issues before those? I personally just find you amazing....I would be searching for any excuse NOT to run...oh yeah, I do that anyhow. :) Love ya.
Meg--Do it! You won't get kicked out. Everyone needs help with different poses from time to time. No one gets kicked out!
Mel--Yes, and no. It is because I'm struggling to re-learn how to run, as the technique in barefoot running is very different. But when I run traditional-style, all of my joints are screaming at me in 3 miles, or less. If I don't make barefoot running work, I have to give up the sport. And for me (crazy, I know (c:), that would be tragic. Love you, too!
Oh, how wonderful! I am sooooo happy for you. And wish you the best as your foot progresses.
