I did that same trip in 1979, only in reverse. I started out in Boston and ended up in California, stopping in the Badlands and Mt Russia and Yellowstone along the way. Don't know if you remember my Siberian Husky, or not. I still had him in Orem, but he was hit by a car out on State Street one day. I bet you were too young to remember him. Anyway, he was on that trip with me. The trips are so much fun, but then it's always great JM to return home again.
